excellent location and great facilities

The hotel is excellently located by the river ouse near skeldergate bridge. the city centre is easily accessed and there are nearby shops and restaurants on 'bishy road'. rowntree park is also close by. It includes a cafe and playground. the croissants provided were fresh and of very good quality.
i noticed that the automatic lighting did not function in the corridors. some towels were also stained when i first arrived. luckily i brought my own towels to use .

the reception staff provided gluten-free croissants upon request. they were also very helpful in answering my questions about local attractions. i found their assistance to be prompt and efficient throughout my stay here.

the location offers easy access to the shopping area the shambles and the city wall. clifford tower and the york minster are within walking distance. the hotel is convenient for exploring nearby historical landmarks.

fresh croissants were available each morning. hot drinks were also offered complimentary. the croissants added a nice touch to the mornings.

Underground and overground parking options were available. the kitchen had ample facilities making meal preparation easier. free laundry facilities were present. This was a welcome addition.

the location is great it was a short walk to the bridge into the central area the room was airy and i liked the comfortable bed and the facilities provided i bought a baguette and pate for lunch and used the dishwasher. the staff provided gluten-free croissants i was very thankful for this the kitchen area was nice and clean and the shower was spacious

the location was good for accessing the city center it was a short walk.
the tv did not work in my room i had to scan a qr code and share my screen it was complicated and the wifi kept crashing i was in bed when i discovered this so i didn't want to call staff
