fantastic apartment stay!
convenient location complimentary drinks spacious room
The location was super convenient! it was a short, pleasant walk to the main attractions. i also appreciated the complimentary hot drinks and croissants. What a lovely touch! the room was amazingly spacious and modern.
the air conditioning didn't seem to cool the room adequately. the fan had limited settings, hard to get comfortable. this meant the temperature in the room was not ideal .

the hotel offered free laundry facilities for guest use! this added extra convenience, especially for longer stays. there were also three tvs available with casting capabilities, providing excellent entertainment options.

the staff members i encountered were friendly and helpful! they promptly located a bandage when a guest required assistance with an injury. hosannah on reception was particularly excellent, always ready to help with a warm and friendly attitude.

the room had a heated floor in the bathroom. this was a luxurious and welcome feature. a functional kitchen equipped with a dishwasher was present. the apartment's nothing messy condition provided a very pleasant environment.

excellent location and great facilities
river location city centre fresh croissant
The hotel is excellently located by the river ouse near skeldergate bridge. the city centre is easily accessed and there are nearby shops and restaurants on 'bishy road'. rowntree park is also close by. It includes a cafe and playground. the croissants provided were fresh and of very good quality.
i noticed that the automatic lighting did not function in the corridors. some towels were also stained when i first arrived. luckily i brought my own towels to use .

the reception staff provided gluten-free croissants upon request. they were also very helpful in answering my questions about local attractions. i found their assistance to be prompt and efficient throughout my stay here.

the location offers easy access to the shopping area the shambles and the city wall. clifford tower and the york minster are within walking distance. the hotel is convenient for exploring nearby historical landmarks.

airy room comfortable bed
the location is great it was a short walk to the bridge into the central area the room was airy and i liked the comfortable bed and the facilities provided i bought a baguette and pate for lunch and used the dishwasher. the staff provided gluten-free croissants i was very thankful for this the kitchen area was nice and clean and the shower was spacious

mixed experience room issues
complicated screen sharing crashing wifi
the location was good for accessing the city center it was a short walk.
the tv did not work in my room i had to scan a qr code and share my screen it was complicated and the wifi kept crashing i was in bed when i discovered this so i didn't want to call staff

The reception staff provided efficient check-in. I found the room spacious enough. The location suited me well, offering a short walk to the city center along the river (I like this riverside path).
I found a small stain on one of the towels upon arrival.
